About The Girl Can Write

Lorette C. Luzajic was born with a pen in one hand and a QWERTY in the other. She is the girl behind www.thegirlcanwrite.net and a graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Journalism.  She is the author of The Astronaut’s Wife: Poems of Eros and Thanatos, and Weird Monologues for a Rainy Life (irreverent ramblings from the end of the world). The sequel is due out later this year. She is also at work on a collection of short stories, and of course, the Great Canadian Novel.

Currently, Lorette writes several columns: Fascinating People, Fascinating Writers, A Matter of Life or Myth and more. She has written widely for print and net publications- just Google her name. She is the only Lorette Luzajic in the world.

  1. Hi. I stumbled across your blog in a google search at work for I can’t remember what… I was so blown away by your Jan 8 post I emailed the link to myself at home so I could take more time to review.
As a fellow reader, writer, and general word-slut & verbosity addict, I relate on so many levels and appreciate your smooth narrative style that presumes the ability to keep up and at times distains explanation.
Thank you very much for sharing, I’ll keep coming back. It works if you write it.
